Finding the balance between enjoying the outdoors and staying safe during the current COVID-19 pandemic is only possible when everyone is abiding by the same precautions. It is critical that all of us adhere to these safety guidelines to ensure that campgrounds can remain open.
We are taking this pandemic seriously. Our mitigation rules and procedures have been developed using guidelines from CDC, PA Department of Heath and Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association (PCOA). We expect all our campers to follow these guidelines. Anyone choosing not to follow these rules and procedures will be asked to leave the campground immediately without refund.
If you are sick or have been exposed to someone who has or is suspected to have COVID-19, please stay home
Practice social distancing (minimum of 6 feet apart) at all times with people outside of your immediate family group
Campers and staff are required to wear a mask during any face-to-face interaction
You may socialize with friends on other sites as long as you do not exceed 8 people per site and you practice social distancing (6 feet) with people outside your family group
Pool is open. In addition to posted pool rules, PA Department of Heath announced the following additional precautions be taken:
wear masks when entering and exiting pool enclosure but not in the water
maintain social distancing with people outside your group at all times
limit the number of people in the pool area so social distancing can be observed
do not share personal items with people outside your group. Personal items left at closing time will be discarded
know that chairs and tables are not provided and bathrooms are closed
All organized activities and sports are canceled until further notice
Playground, pavilion, rec hall and porches are closed and may not be used
Bathhouses and store are closed for the time being
Children who cannot comply with the above restrictions must be accompanied by an adult whenever they leave their site
Everyone is encouraged to wear a mask or protective garment that covers their nose and mouth anytime they go outside or interact with people outside their immediate family group
Campers are encouraged to buy groceries and fill up their vehicle in their own neighborhood to minimize the amount of interaction with the broader community.
Practice good hygiene: wash hands often with soap and warm water for 20 seconds or use a hand sanitizer of at least 60% alcohol. Avoid surfaces that are touched frequently such as door knobs and handrails
Rental units that include their own restroom facilities are available, but there will be no back-to-back rentals. We will use CDC approved disinfectants and will allow at least 24 hours following cleaning. People renting the units must bring their own dish soap, personal soap, linens and other personal items
We know that camping is going to be different this season. We hope this is temporary but, for now, you should be prepared that basically your family will be able to hangout at your site, enjoy a campfire, take some walks, go fishing while maintaining social distancing. This is a fluid situation and things will be changing. For now, these are the guidelines and they must be followed strictly so campgrounds can remain open. Please be patient with us and our staff as we navigate our way through this unprecedented time.
